I have spent the last ten years as “The Voice on Capitol Hill” for Tennessee property taxpayers. I joined Exit Realty Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee as an affiliate broker in 2006 and am a member in good standing of WCR, SAR, TAR, and NAR. I recently received my Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation and am looking forward to putting this new knowledge into action by working with buyers and sellers aged 55 and over.

Over the past ten years I have been involved in implementing legislation and administrative rules benefiting and aiding both commercial and residential property taxpayers in Tennessee. I have been instrumental in several significant legislative actions, such as the law that permits a property tax freeze on the homes of senior citizens; the law that ensures taxpayers be afforded fair and equitable treatment; the law that requires all property tax hearings to be conducted in an informal manner; and defeating a proposal to pay government auditors a percentage of any taxes recovered from a taxpayer.
